Crumbling by Brodie Barclay is A Soulful Voyage Through Heartache and Hope

Crumbling is the first and lead single by Scottish singer-songwriter Brodie Barclay, taken from his new EP. It bleeds emotion through every note. His voice, raw and rich, navigates the stormy seas of heartache.

Sombre strokes of piano and guitar create a rhythm that acts as the backdrop, sometimes faint, sometimes racing. The production, stripped down to its essence, lets the raw emotion shine, only to surprise you with an electronic twist.

Crumbling is catchy and emotional, capturing a sense of desperation and longing. The song is a powerful and honest expression of grief and loss.

Brodie’s own words add a layer of intimacy to the track. Written in the solitude of 2020’s lockdown, Crumbling is a melody that captures a moment in time, a diary entry from a world standing still. He calls it his best work yet, and who are we to argue? When a song can make you really feel, it’s done its job.

With Brodie Barclay’s soul-stirring vocals as its guide, Crumbling is more than just another indie folk song; it’s a journey through the highs and lows of human emotion. So, listen closely, and let Crumbling take you where words alone cannot.
