Jane Mathew Releases An Honest Portrayal Of Friendship In What Fire

What Fire is the striking new single from Toronto singer-songwriter Jane Mathew. Intricate fingerpicking combines with lush vocals, harmonies and a melody that winds an intoxicating path. Jane tells the story of a friend who experienced a difficult time in her life and she reflects on whether she contributed towards those difficulties or if there was more she could have done.

How did I miss the signs
I should have seen it coming
Countless times you’ve fallen off but I never would have guessed
This would be the last

Was it something I did or I said
That it pushed you right over the edge

Jane Mathew has created an honest and intimate portrayal of friendship, guilt and hardship in What Fire. This is the second single from Jane’s debut album Such Perfect Lives out this Autumn.
