Waste My Time By Eleanor Explores The Complexities Of Modern Love

Eleanor’s latest single, Waste My Time, is an introspective contemporary R&B track that showcases her impressive vocal range and songwriting abilities. The song, inspired by a friendship that was leaning towards a romantic relationship, is a relatable and thought-provoking exploration of the complexities of modern love.

With inflexions of soul and indie, Waste My Time is a refreshing take on contemporary R&B. The laidback guitar riff and atmospheric synths provide the perfect backdrop for Eleanor’s emotive delivery, which is at times vulnerable and at times powerful.

The song captures complex emotions in a few simple lines. The chorus, which repeats the phrase “I don’t wanna waste my time,” encapsulates the feeling of uncertainty and fear that often comes with falling for someone who may not reciprocate your feelings.

Eleanor’s debut EP A Late Bloom will be released in the summer of 2023.
