Submitted To Sin: A Raw And Poignant Release From Virens

Submitted To Sin: A Raw And Poignant Release From Virens

Only three singles in and duo Virens have us hooked with their intimate, stripped-back singles and raw, rasping, yet tender vocals.

Submitted To Sin is their latest single and it’s a poignant and emotional song that tells the story of a broken relationship that is too damaged to be repaired.

It’s the first song that Virens ever wrote, and it’s a deeply personal reflection on the pain and heartache that comes with loving someone who isn’t right for you.

The song captures the feeling of pining for someone that you know isn’t good for you but still wanting them more than anything else in the world.

It’s a powerful and relatable sentiment that many people can identify with, as it speaks to the universal experience of loving someone who is ultimately destructive.

Despite its simplicity, the song is incredibly powerful and moving. The rawness of Virens’ vocals perfectly captures the raw emotion of the lyrics, while the acoustic guitar provides a gentle and haunting backdrop to the song’s melancholy melody.

We are getting closer to the release of their EP Couples Therapy and with a trio of songs this strong so far, we can’t wait to hear what’s in store from the talented Virens.
