Sink Into The Shimmering Align By Russell Stewart

By Lucy LernerOctober 4, 2022
Sink Into The Shimmering Align By Russell Stewart

Sink into the shimmering Align by Russell Stewart. Tender vocals glide across glitchy electronic structures, and emotion seeps into each pulsing note. Lyrics are raw and the buildup of intoxicating sounds elevates the track. Align is the first in a selection of new releases planned for this year.

Russell Stewart spoke exclusively to Neon Music about his recent track, “I’ve been working on Align for a long time so it’s a relief to get such a positive and encouraging reaction to it, especially now I’m exploring more sides of my music that people haven’t heard before.

I wrote it from the frustration of trying, and failing, to make the start of a relationship work, so the track kind of mirrors that as it progresses with the big emotional swells and chaotic sounds.”

It’s worth checking out Russell’s previous 2019 release, Midsummer, which features a feel-good groove and his soulful vocals. With singles as strong as these, we can’t wait to hear what Russell Stewart delivers next.
