Mila Degray’s Two Bridges: A Dreamy Indie-Pop Journey
Take a sonic journey with Mila Degray‘s latest release, Two Bridges.
Broward County, Florida native is quickly making a name for herself in the indie-pop scene.
With Two Bridges, Mila offers a shimmering preview of what’s to come in her upcoming album Silver Meteor 98, set to drop on 18th October.
This track is a glittery, dreamy soundscape, blending synth-laden indie pop with ethereal, soothing vocals that whisk you away, like drifting through a kaleidoscope of clouds and stars.
It’s the kind of track that sweeps you up in its rhythm, taking you on an emotional ride where every moment feels alive.
But there’s more than just the sound. Mila’s lyrics are raw and emotionally charged, reminiscent of those late-night thoughts we all wish we could take back.
Beyond her music, Mila has been making waves. She recently made a cameo in Charli XCX and Billie Eilish’s Guess music video, serving looks that had us all reaching for our eyeliners.
On top of that, she’s been supporting Isabel Larossa on tour, with fans lining up for selfies after each show.
Following on the heels of her previous single Masculine Charm, Two Bridges hints that Silver Meteor 98 will be nothing short of spectacular.
Mila Degray is showing us that vulnerability can be a superpower, and she’s using it to craft something truly special.
Two Bridges is out now, courtesy of Velvet Jane Records.
Mila Degray – Two Bridges Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Stop using you as an excuse for being unwell
No point in obsessin’ over this
You know he’s only there when he’s drunk and scared and he needs some undressin’
(Undressin’, obsessin’, undressin’, obsessin’)
But I settled for this
I’ll watch you wipe my blood all over this white dress
‘Cause you can’t give me more
[Chorus]
Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do
(Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do)
At 2 AM every weekend but it’s nothing new
(It’s nothing new, it’s nothing new)
[Verse 2]
I know you got your own stuff going on
Took my shot, took my chance
No, I don’t feel pretty when you’re around
And I’m not your priority
No space to stay and fake smile
Second choice I felt this coming
Pulling back ‘cause you’re bored of me
[Chorus]
Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do
(Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do)
At 2 AM every weekend but it’s nothing new
(It’s nothing new, it’s nothing new)
Just didn’t think it’d be you too (Too, too)
After cigarette skin tattoos
Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do
(Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do)
[Post-Chorus]
This isn’t what friends do
(Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do)
This isn’t what friends do
(Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do)
This isn’t what friends do
(Call yourself my friend but this isn’t what friends do)
This isn’t what friends do
