Float On Air With Melissa Ramsay's New Single Free

Float on air with Melissa Ramsay’s new single Free. The singer-songwriter from Melbourne truly delivers with this carefree single which starts with a pop vibe but drops into a melodic hook, shimmering synths, and pulsing beat with airy vocals floating on top. Free is relatable with themes of anxiety, loneliness, and trying to drum up positivity for a better life.

“I wrote this a long time before COVID-19 but decided to release it now because I think a lot of people will be able to relate to the feelings of anxiety. It talks about feeling cooped, which many people have experienced while staying home to keep themselves and others safe. There’s also a sense of hope in the song. I wanted to release something brighter to feel like a warm sunny day for people to listen to and escape to.” – Melissa Ramsay

Free follows Melissa Ramsay‘s previous singles Promises and Alone which are worth a listen to for a nice slice of alt-pop with a darker edge. In the meantime enjoy her latest offering with its ethereal aesthetics – it does what it says on the tin and conjures the feeling of being free
