‘Closer To Sleep’ Is A Dreamy Solo Pop Project From Lyndsi Austin

LA-based singer-songwriter and producer Lyndsi Austin releases her airy new single ‘Closer To Sleep’ with fellow LA producer Nxghtshade. Also known as a vocalist for dirty-beach alt-rock band Tidal Babes, this is Lyndsi’s first original song release which follows her indie cover of Bruce Springsteen’s classic ‘Dancing in the Dark’.

‘Closer To Sleep’ floods your body with warmth via dreamy synths and crystal vocals. The chorus has a kind of lullaby quality and an overall mellow vibe. It screams out to be played multiple times.

Since moving to LA from Salt Lake City, Utah in 2016 Lyndsi has been making music in some form or another. She co-wrote and featured on the song ‘Got The Rhythm’ for the film ‘Dance Camp’ and the song was released on the official soundtrack (Universal Music Group). She also received a vocal credit on Mick Flannery’s self-titled 2019 album which got to #1 in Ireland, as well as songwriting credit on American Idol finalist Brooke White’s album Calico released in October. ‘Dancing In The Dark’ shortly followed.

‘Closer To Sleep’ is such an impressive solo debut and we can’t wait for more from Lyndsi Austin.
