Celebrate Life With Ocie Elliott’s New Single With The Lights Down
Celebrate life with Ocie Elliott‘s delightful new single With the Lights Down. As soon as you hear the first chord and the serene vocals come in, you will be hooked. The song has the power to take you to a place of peace and joy with its many layers of intimate nostalgia. It’s no surprise that the song was influenced by a summer night spent reuniting with friends. The Canadian indie-folk due Ocie Elliott have created a relatable song filled with warmth and tenderness.
“With the Lights Down was written after Sierra’s last birthday, which takes place on June 21 – the summer solstice,” reflects one half of the duo, Jon Middleton. “It was a beautiful and warm early summer evening, and we had a beach party to celebrate. It was the first time in a while where we were seeing people outside of our core friend groups. The night was magical with music, conversation, and ocean swims. The song points to the feeling left-over from the celebration: a mixture of love, happiness and gratitude.”
With the Lights Down is out now.
