Ashnikko’s Smoochie Girl video review starring Starlight kid

Ashnikko Smoochie Girl video review starring Starlight kid

Ashnikko’s “Smoochie Girl” video is cut like a downtown sprint through Tokyo, but the frame belongs to Starlight Kid.

The STARDOM standout isn’t just a cameo; the whole clip borrows the language of pro wrestling to give the song teeth.

She squares up to camera like it’s a walk-out, hits that heel-ish stare, plays to an invisible crowd, and turns alleyways into an entrance ramp.

The cat mask and cape aren’t costume fluff either. They’re part of her luchadora persona, and the video leans into that show-don’t-tell energy rather than smothering it with props.

Ashnikko matches the posture with bratty choreography and quick, candy-bright cuts, so the hook snaps without the scene feeling busy.

It’s pop with kayfabe baked in: character first, impact first, and a finish that feels earned when Starlight Kid takes the final beat.

For those unfamiliar, Starlight Kid is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to STARDOM, known for her masked, lucha-influenced style. Perfect casting for this world.

The video works because it commits to the bit. No winking, no hesitation. Just two performers who know how to sell a moment.
