Artemas Test Drive: A Seductive Descent into Lust, Power & Glitch-Soaked Intimacy

Artemas leans fully into shadowy allure on Test Drive, a woozy alt-grunge lullaby laced with warped synths, distorted horns, and a rhythm that uncoils like smoke in the backseat of a car you shouldn’t be in.

His voice is almost spectral, part confession and part control, drifting between murmurs and falsetto with a narcotic ease that feels as dangerous as it is intimate.

“Put some faith in me, I’ll take you for a test drive,” he repeats like a late-night dare, offering no clarity, only temptation.

There’s something calculated in the calm—his vocal restraint stretches the tension, letting the chaos hum just beneath the surface.

The production pulses with lo-fi grit, letting the track feel deliberately undone, like a secret left half-told.

Following his global breakout i like the way you kiss me, Artemas continues to cement his space in the murkier corners of alt-pop.

Test Drive plays like a scenario you never fully walk away from—one where desire, danger, and control blur into something you can’t quite name but feel all the same.

Artemas Test Drive Lyrics

Intro
(Oh) Yeah
(Oh) Ooh
(Oh)
(Oh)
(Test drive)

Chorus
So, put some faith in me and we’ll get married for the night
Only I can feed the flame that’s burnin’ in your eyes
No one has to know the things that make you lose your mind
Put some faith in me, I’ll take you for a test drive
Put some faith in me and we’ll get married for the night
Only I can feed the flame that’s burnin’ in your eyes
No one has to know the things that make you lose your mind
Put some faith in me, I’ll take you for a test drive

Verse 1
You look so good, now I’m paranoid
You’re lookin’ for somеbody that can fill the void
I can be that for you, I can keep touchin’ you
Help you avoid thе truth (Oh)

Pre-Chorus
I’ll tease you ’til you beg for it
You won’t ever catch me beggin’ for you
And I won’t hear any blame
This is your bed that you made
Your bed where we’re laying

Bridge
All your fantasies, all your little secrets
Let me take the lead
I can make you scream all night long
And I won’t take any blame
This is your bed that you made
Your bed where we’re layin’

Chorus
Put some faith in me and we’ll get married for the night
Only I can feed the flame that’s burnin’ in your eyes
No one has to know the things that make you lose your mind
Put some faith in me, I’ll take you for a test drive
Put some faith in me and we’ll get married for the night
Only I can feed the flame that’s burnin’ in your eyes
No one has to know the things that make you lose your mind
Put some faith in me, I’ll take you for a test drive

Outro
(Oh) Yeah
