Music will tell you more about me than I ever will…
Co-Founder & Editor
Music is a huge passion of mine and the soundtrack to my life consists of artists from Donell Jones, Pretty Ricky and Nirvana to Nas and G-Unit as well as a plethora of rock, folk, alternative and Jazz. It is an incredible opportunity to discover new artists and not only have the pleasure of interviewing them but to revel in their talents, immerse myself in their music and put my heart and soul into writing about it.
Emma is from the depths of Southend-On-Sea, Essex. Writing is her absolute passion and she has been blogging for 2 years while enjoying the student life at Bournemouth University studying screenwriting for Film and Television. Emma loves discovering new music artists and sharing them with others.
Just a few things about myself: Lover of discovering what’s new and bringing the tunes straight to you Eat, breathe, sleep music and you can pretty much find me wherever it is.
Born and raised in Indiana, USA, I’m a writer and a musician bent on adding my wit and personality to everything I write about. I grew up on Nirvana, The Beatles, Queen, and ACDC. My favorite band is Deftones, and I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting music to listen to.
Having spent her early years in Lewisham, Lana now lives in Auckland, New Zealand where she is completing her BA in Sociology and Media. Alongside living the broke student lifestyle, Lana has also written for NZ Musician magazine. An avid music fan, she has been known to get tattoos of Amy Winehouse lyrics, sing along (terribly) to Destiny’s Child, and get a little too lit at Chance the Rapper’s concert.
Abbie is a filmmaker and model from Southampton with a love for 60’s culture and music. Amidst her love for The Doors and The Rolling Stones, Abbie has a longstanding adoration for funky house and techno.
A graduate from the University of Liverpool, I’ve been working at festivals since I was 16 which really influenced how much I love music! My favourite band of all time is (old school) Arctic Monkeys, I’ve seen them 6 times which is probably slightly excessive! May aim is to work in the music industry, whether that’s organising festivals, writing for printed or online media or working at a radio station.
I am currently studying for a BA Hons Humanities degree and have always had a keen interest in music and play the Guitar. As well as hosting my own internet radio show Rockstarclassics on WBRFM where I play old rock songs with a twist, I am a keen writer of lyrics, poetry and short Horror stories. My favourite type of music is rock, souls, blues or anything with a heart behind it.
I’m a twenty-something Biological sciences student and it’s safe to say, I am Bastille obsessed! I also love The Killers and, errm, Paolo Nutini. I really enjoy going to gigs and music festivals, and have even travelled to Paris for a concert (I’ll let you guess who I went to see ;)). I like writing about my experiences and also about new artists.
I come from Milano, Italy and have a background as a guitarist and musical performer. Music for me is like food. I love to discover new artists and go to concerts to actually listen to the music not make Instagram stories.
Raised on red wine and rock, Ty has a longstanding love for counterculture so gravitates towards boundary pushing music. As a mixologist and aspiring lyricist, her work reflects a poetic undertone. She is happiest with a glass of bourbon, a notebook and a playlist.
