Summer Walker secures 2025’s most significant R&B album debut by a woman with Finally Over It, the concluding chapter of her acclaimed trilogy.
The Grammy-nominated artist’s third studio album landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, moving 77,000 album-equivalent units in its opening week.
The 18-track project marks Walker’s third No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and claims her fourth top 10 entry on the Billboard 200.
The album generated 92 million streams alongside 8,000 traditional sales, demonstrating her continued dominance in contemporary R&B.
Walker commands an impressive chart presence beyond the album’s performance. She currently holds seven songs on the Hot 100, 15 on Hot R&B Songs, and 16 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Her career totals now stand at 45 Hot 100 hits and 60 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs entries. Notably, Walker leads all artists with the most Hot R&B Songs chart entries in 2025.
“Robbed You” enters the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at No. 10, becoming Walker’s fifth top 10 on the chart and her first since “No Love.”
The release strategy extended beyond the standard album drop. Finally Over It (Cocktail Hour) arrived with iTunes-exclusive content, including “Session 34” and a live version of “Session 32” from her Las Vegas tour stop.
The deluxe also features Walker explaining her Sessions series and exclusive recording footage of fan favourite “Go Girl.”
A second deluxe, Finally Over It (The After Party), answered fan demands by officially releasing vinyl-only tracks “Take Me Out This Club” and “Drown In My Love” featuring Foggieraw, both previewed during an Instagram Live earlier this year.
The edition includes a solo version of “1-800 Heartbreak,” offering listeners a fresh perspective on the album standout.
