Doja Cat drops Jealous Type, a late-summer lead single with a glossy new video

Doja Cat has released Jealous Type on the 21 August 2025, the first single from her forthcoming album Vie (out September 26 via Kemosabe/RCA), pairing a hooky 80s-tinted pop bounce with a high-gloss visual directed by Boni Mata.

The track is produced by Jack Antonoff and Y2K, a credits combo early coverage says steers her back toward bright, radio-ready pop.

The video is live now on her official channel; views passed the seven-figure mark within the first day as outlets framed it as a late play for song of the summer.

Jealous Type follows its stage preview at Outside Lands earlier this month, where Doja sketched the era’s 80s aesthetic before confirming Vie’s date.
