The Feather’s BB Is a Lush Indie-Pop Ode to Familiar Love and Everyday Magic

The Feather’s new single BB moves like a warm breeze through an ‘80s skyline—built on analogue synths, soft snares, and a vocal that never forces its way forward.

It’s the title track from his new album, and according to The Feather, “it’s the heart and soul of it… a song simply to say: I know you.”

There’s a calm kind of intimacy here. The lyrics don’t chase drama—they trace the rhythm of a relationship that lives in the small stuff: shared routines, quiet reassurances, the things you notice when you’ve really stayed.

“When you’re away I fall to pieces” sounds gentle, but it lands with weight, balanced by shimmering layers that never push too far.

Production by Chris Taylor and drums from Thomas Hedlund bring movement without breaking the mood.

The sound blooms slowly, staying grounded in a laidback groove, even as the textures open up.

And the visuals by Rebeka Mor echo the feeling—soft tones, stillness, connection.

This song is for long drives, open windows, and the kind of love that doesn’t need to shout.

The Feather BB Lyrics

Will you catch me when I fall?
Are you tired of it all?
There is no easy way to know it

Will you stand up straight and tall?
Or keep your back against the wall?
There’s no other way to know it

Oh Baby, no, no, no.
Is there a way for you to know?
I never thought it could be like this

Oh Baby, no, no, no.
i’ll never wait for you to go
when you’re away I fall to pieces

The winning days are gone for years
Can’t tell where they disappear
There is no other way to know it
If you head up for a fight I will never cut you down
There is no easy way to know it

Oh baby
Everything is you, yeah,
All that I ever do is only for the two of us
You’ll always be the first

Oh Baby, no, no, no.
Is there a way for you to know?
I never thought it could be like this

Oh Baby, no, no, no.
i’ll never wait for you to go
when you’re away I fall to pieces
