Max Barskih’s Stomach Butterflies Bottles A Dizzy Feeling of Love

Max Barskih’s Stomach Butterflies Bottles A Dizzy Feeling of Love

On Stomach Butterflies, Two-time MTV EMA Award winner Ukrainian musician, Max Barskih leans into lo-fi textures and romantic unease, creating a track that feels like falling in love mid-daydream.

There’s a washed-out warmth to the production—analog synth pads, soft-focus drum loops, and vocal layering that sways more than it lands.

It’s nostalgic but not retro for the sake of it. It feels like something fragile you’re afraid to name.

“I feel like these days, it’s getting harder to find real connections… that feeling of butterflies in your stomach,” says Max.

The song edges on that threshold—between euphoria and uncertainty. “You could be another mistake / I’m open too much, too honest with you.” There’s vulnerability in every line, and he doesn’t try to hide it.

His delivery sits just above a whisper, shifting between confession and chorus with ease. “When I look into your eyes / I get stomach butterflies” might sound sweet, but there’s tension in the understatement. He knows love isn’t safe—but he’s still diving in.

This is lo-fi pop for late nights, blurry mornings, and people who overthink every text.

Max Barskih turns quiet panic into a slow-burning serenade. Stomach Butterflies marks the first single from his highly anticipated English-language album—an intimate preview of what’s to come.

MAX BARSKIH Stomach Butterflies

Baby, you look perfect to me,
Even though you never believe me saying.
Sometimes I feel like you’re just a dream,
That’s fading away, that couldn’t exist.

24 hours a day,
You stay in my head,
And I just don’t think it’s normal.

I’m falling for another mistake,
I’m open too much,
Too honest with you.

Chorus
But what can I do?
I’m falling in love,
I’m falling for you.

What can I do?
I can’t get enough,
I’m over the moon.

You can change my weather,
Time we spend together,
No one knows me better than you.

As beautiful as ever,
Make it last forever,
Nothing else matters but you.

24 hours a day,
You stay in my head,
And I just don’t think it’s normal.

You could be another mistake,
I’m open too much,
Too honest with you.

Chorus:
But what can I do?
I’m falling in love,
I’m falling for you.

What can I do?
I can’t get enough,
I’m over the moon.

When I look into your eyes,
I get stomach butterflies.
I can’t stop myself from falling in love.
