Dré Six x KitschKrieg’s Bestie: A Quiet Plea Wrapped in Velvet Restraint

Dré Six x KitschKrieg’s Bestie: A Quiet Plea Wrapped in Velvet Restraint

Minimalism never sounded this exposed. Bestie leans into the hush—muted piano chords, air-tight drums, and a beat that barely lifts its head. Dré Six doesn’t need to shout.

His voice moves with intention, careful and low, the kind of tone that lingers after the line ends.

“Baby I need you to know / I need your love,” he sings, each word resting on the edge of something unspoken.

There’s an intimacy in how he phrases it—soft repetition, bare-boned structure, no excess. The refrain “Don’t get used to this / I don’t say much” hangs like a warning wrapped in silk.

Even the hook—“If I was your best friend / I’d take you up to West End”—feels more like a memory than a promise.

KitschKrieg’s production sits back, almost ghostlike, letting space fill the gaps between vulnerability and bravado.

“None of us wanna be alone,” hums Dré, again and again, as if he’s trying to believe it.

There’s no crescendo here—just a low-lit conversation and a few quiet confessions.

Bestie doesn’t chase a climax. It just stays with you, the way some truths do when you whisper them out loud.

Dré Six x KitschKrieg Bestie Lyrics

If I was your best friend,
I’d take you up to west end
Go shopping on me
First store LV
Said if I your best friend
Oh I never lie to you
Who you gon rely on
Everytime you know
I come through

Baby I need you to know I need your love
Your the one that makes my heart go
Don’t get used to this I don’t say much
Don’t get used to this
Don’t get used
Baby I need you to know
I need your love
Your the one that makes my heart go
Don’t get used to this
I don’t say much
Don’t get used to this
Don’t get used to this

Hmm hmmm
None of us wanna be alone
Hmm hmmm
None of us wanna be alone
