Premiere: Amy Swift Releases ‘Every Little Thing’

Amy Swift releases her exquisite new single ‘Every Little Thing’ which incorporates soulful R&B and early influences of Motown. It sounds sophisticated and classic yet still remains fresh. Swift has rich vocals which croon around smooth harmonies and the whole track is underpinned by a retro swagger. It is delightfully feel-good with hip-swinging danceability.

‘Every Little Thing’ was self-penned by Amy and produced by long term collaborator “Nadeem”. It is about heartache and Amy revels in the lyrics which she delivers with passion:

“Let go of love they told me, twice is enough and only a fool don’t give up on borrowed time.“

The South-East Londoner has written music for multiple artists and fronted Universal-signed electro-soul act Pacific State, but she is really making waves as a solo artist. This year alone has been incredibly promising with praise from many tastemakers including The Guardian, Tom Robinson BBC Radio 6, Earmilk, Pop Dust, and Record of The Day to name a few. In September Amy was presented with an award for ‘Artist of The Month’ by the iconic Madison Square Gardens Group. The talented singer-songwriter is also looking forward to supporting Natacha Atlas on her European Tour.

‘Every Little Thing’ is released on 15th November. It may be short and sweet but it packs a punch.

You can see Amy Swift live in London on 21st November at 229, The Venue.
