We Plug Good Music Releases 10th Anniversary Reissue Of 2010 Debut Mixtape A Prelude To The Future

Welcome to the lush soundscape of Imagination by We Plug Good Music x Shanaz Dorsett x EOM. You find yourself transported to a different time as sweet vocals on a bed of laidback sound textures saturate your eardrums.

Imagination is one of the tracks on the 10th Anniversary Reissue of the 2010 Debut Mixtape A Prelude To The Future by We Plug Good Music.

The original mixtape featured 20 emerging global artists, in the genre of R&B, hip-hop, soul, afrobeats and spoken word that We Plug Good Music worked with a decade ago.

Ayo Adepoju, the founder of We Plug Good Music wanted to celebrate this milestone and all these talented artists. He says of the project:

“the 2010 project featured 20 of the most promising up and coming artists from the UK, US and Nigeria that we’d had the privilege of working with, in the year and a half since our inception. We have always been about plugging the best new music, especially music that commercial or mainstream spaces overlook, while making sure that good music in all its different form, and not only what the industry calls ‘good’, comes to the forefront. Thankfully that continues to be our ethos 10 years later, and it’s especially great to see some of the artists on the mixtape fully coming into their own over the past few years and thriving in their craft”.

A Prelude To The Future is out now and 50% of all the proceeds will be donated to the Scleroderma Foundation in honour of Associate Producer EOM who passed away in 2018.
