Tommy Ashby Releases An Emotive New Single When Love Goes Dark

Tommy Ashby Releases An Emotive New Single When Love Goes Dark

Scottish singer-songwriter  Tommy Ashby is back with an emotionally stirring new single When Love Goes Dark. It’s a beautiful song composition that is melancholic yet gives off an uplifting vibe. The lyrics are thought-provoking, and the melody is hauntingly beautiful, which creates a perfect balance between sadness and hope. It tells the story of a relationship that has hit a rough patch. The production is sharp, and the instrumentation is understated, yet it enhances the emotional feel of the song. However, Tommy’s vocals remain the main focus as they are raw and palpable throughout the song.

“This song is about the moment a loving relationship turns. When everything is pushing down on you, you should try to hold onto the good things. It’s also about the small choices you make all the time that add up to who you are. Could you tell a little white lie?” – Tommy Ashby

Fans of thoughtful, introspective songwriting would appreciate listening to When Love Goes Dark.
