The Neighbourhood Lovebomb Music Video: A Return to Form

The Neighbourhood Lovebomb Music Video: A Return to Form

The Neighbourhood delivers a visual love letter to their origins with the “Lovebomb” music video, which dropped on 3rd December 2025.

Directed by longtime collaborator Zack Sekuler, the indie rock track from their fifth studio album (((((ultraSOUND))))) channels the atmospheric dreamscapes that first made the California quintet icons of moody alternative music.

Sekuler, who helmed the band’s breakthrough “Sweater Weather” visual in 2013, creates something timelessly nostalgic here.

The video follows the band cruising through streets from dusk to dawn, intercutting live session footage and performance shots that recall their earliest work.

The early-2000s aesthetic bleeds through every frame, from the nocturnal city drives to the intimate studio sequences where Jesse Rutherford’s vocals drift through hazy cinematography.

The visual choices mirror “Sweater Weather” without replicating it, offering longtime fans that familiar feeling whilst showcasing the band’s maturity.

This marks The Neighbourhood’s first original studio album in five years, and “Lovebomb” signals their return maintains the sonic territory they’ve always owned.
