Shenseea & Rvssian Share Self Love Video: Watch

Shenseea & Rvssian Share Self Love Video: Watch

Shenseea unveils the video for Self Love, a late-summer single built on Rvssian’s Story Book Riddim and released on August 20, 2025 through Head Concussion/21st Hapilos.

The song is about sexual autonomy on her terms. She draws a neat line between appetite and agency, choosing pleasure she can promise herself over unfulfilled promises.

The hook keeps the message compact; the verses turn it practical.

That directness fits the arrangement’s clipped drum bounce and glassy low end, which give every short phrase a little extra voltage.

The visual goes intimate rather than busy. Tight framing, soft focus, and a clean palette keep you inside her timing.

There’s a cheeky visual pun when she plucks a “rose” and lets the joke sit in plain sight.

A small hand gesture finishes the thought without spelling it out.

The choices feel wry, a little teasing, and true to the lyric’s point that she doesn’t need a stand-in to set the pace.

Director Shane Creative keeps everything unfussy and performance-led.

There’s even a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it male cameo near the end, which reads less like rescue and more like a prop that proves the thesis: the focus never shifts from her control.
