Lina Nikol and Boyan's Tell Me Is It Worth It Is A Soulful Retro Groove

Lina Nikol and Boyan have done it again with their latest EP, A Mood Called “You”, co-released by Stereofox and Sweet Soul Records, and the third cut, Tell Me Is It Worth It, is an instant classic. The retro-chill groove of Lina’s smooth vocals and the instrumental arrangement take listeners on a soulful journey that’s sure to please.

While the EP’s first single, Wine Talks, explores the perception of love and passion, and the second single, Set You Free, features the virtuoso neo-soul guitarist, Ashton Sellars, Tell Me Is It Worth It, focuses on the many angles of living in the emotional complexities of relationships.

Lina Nikol’s vocals are great, especially with her smooth and sassy tone of emotional highs and the way love twists and turns. She adds rhythm to the blues, which is bound to evoke a spectrum of emotions. Boyan’s production skills shimmer, creating a cohesive sound steeped in traditional R&B.

The song’s infectious melody and relatable lyrics make it a true gem of the R&B genre, proving it is alive and well in the hands of talented artists like Lina Nikol and Boyan.

Tell Me Is It Worth It is a simple ride that Lina makes her own, reminding listeners that there’s more to R&B than just sex and bitterness.

The EP, A Mood Called “You”, is out now.
