Kane Brown Talks Vevo, New Music, and What’s Next in The High Road

Kane Brown’s latest project, The High Road, offers a closer look at his artistry and creative process.

Released through Vevo’s Extended Play series, the 15-minute short film features live performances, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments.

Shot at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium, the film includes performances of 3, Gorgeous, and I Am, each set in a different space to reflect the stages of a live show.

Inside The High Road: A Visual and Musical Journey

“Municipal Auditorium is a special place to me,” Brown shares in the film. “Being able to film in that place with this team was an awesome experience.”

The short film moves from the greenroom, where Brown delivers a stripped-back rendition of 3, to the backstage corridors for Gorgeous, before culminating on the grand stage with a performance of I Am.

Kane Brown on His Artistic Growth and Sound Evolution

Brown remains candid about his journey. “When it comes to me and my music, I feel like I’m still learning,” he admits.

“Hopefully by, you know, the fifth or sixth album, I’ll know what I want my sound to be ‘officially,’ but I still haven’t figured that out yet!”

His music continues to blend country, pop, and R&B, reflecting his willingness to explore different sounds.

A Deeper Look at Kane Brown’s Creative Process

Beyond the music, The High Road presents Brown in unscripted moments, from conversations with his band to reflections on personal experiences that shape his songwriting.

Rather than a polished concert film, it plays out more like a documentary, capturing the reality of an artist still defining his path.

The Impact of The High Road and What’s Next for Kane Brown

With 22.6 million Vevo views in 2025 alone, Brown remains one of country music’s most-watched artists.

The High Road captures his current stage as a musician, offering insight into his evolving sound and creative direction.

The film provides a look at where he is now—and where he’s headed next.
