Grace Savage Celebrates The Launch Of New EP ‘Control Freak’ At The Sebright Arms

By Annalisa GalbiatiJune 8, 2018

Over the long weekend in May, Electro-pop singer Grace Savage had her headline gig at the Sebright Arms to celebrate the launch of her second EP ‘Control Freak’.
Grace Savage is an independent singer, actress and 4 x UK Beatboxing champion from London. She started her career working for four years with a producer on over 30 songs while developing her style. After a lengthy legal battle over rights and a year-long break, she eventually got back in the studio to record her 2017 debut EP ‘Savage Grace’.

Grace’s first single of 2018 ‘Headlights’ was made the track of the day on CLASH music. On May 23rd she released her second three-track EP ‘Control Freak’ containing ‘The Hunger’, ‘My Favourite Game’ and ‘Slaves & Idols’. She chose the Sebright Arms’s stage to celebrate the launch of her new work, supported by the Birmingham Music Awards 2018‘s “Best Solo Female” and rapper Lady Sanity. Both talented girls are nominees for “Best Female Solo Act” for the Unsigned Music Awards 2018. Grace has also been nominated as “Best Songwriter” at the UMA and selected a quarter-finalist for the Isle of Wight “New Blood” competition.

During her headline show, Grace sang and beatboxed with her band: Ben Cartwright and Chris Bartholemew.  There was a big crowd and everyone danced to Grace’s unique electro-pop sound. She wrote on her social media following the show: “Wow. They don’t make moments like that very often. It’s hard to put into words how much last night meant to me but I’m gonna go ahead and say that that was the best gig of my life. Thank you so much to every single person that came down to support. You were an incredible audience. I’m gonna remember that one forever”.

Constantly making new music, Grace will be releasing her new single ‘Running Under Water’ this month and during the summer she will be playing a few notable festival slots including Beat-Herder in Lancashire on July 14th and Citadel in London on July 15th.
