Enjoy The Fresh Island Vibes And Sounds On Ketch Di Pree

Enjoy the fresh Island vibes and sounds on Ketch Di Pree from this collective from Jamaica. Ketch Di Pree is a laidback mellow genre-bending track, the collaboration of Wavy Jones x Blvk H3ro x Jeeby Lyricist x Kione Zaire. Enlisting the assistance of Blvk H3ro, Jeeby Lyricist Wavy, and Kione Zaire, Wavy Jones has cultivated a balanced blend of hip-hop, R&B, and ragga. It’s a fresh and modern sound grounded on their native influences. The lyrics are conscious, crisp, and full of flavour set on introspective instrumentals.

“The concept and collaboration was a great opportunity to speak on finding personal balance and
actualizing a better self,” shared Kione Zaire, an up and coming lyricist from Jamaica. “I just hope it
translates well with a generation of youth that has been feeling constant angst and would prefer a
more optimistic outlook going forward.”

Ketch Di Pree is derived from the patois term “ketch di pree” or “catch the pree” which literally means to.
– Wavy Jones

The visuals exhume black excellence and are saturated with positive energy.
