Reuben Aziz 'Always Come Back' Review: Raw Talent Meets DIY Spirit

Reuben Aziz unleashes his full arsenal on Always Come Back, serving up a triple threat showcase as producer, singer, and rapper.

The London artist’s latest drop alternates between velvet-smooth hooks and razor-sharp bars, with clever wordplay sprinkled throughout his verses.

Taking cues from his 50 Cent and 2Pac influences, Aziz crafts a sound that’s distinctly his own.

The self-produced track rides a wave between introspective soul and street-smart rap, while references to TFL and underground scenes root it firmly in London’s soil.

Shot in front of a chicken shop (because apparently no UK rap video is complete without some hot wings in the background), his visuals keep that authentic London energy alive.

His production maintains that raw, bedroom-studio authenticity while delivering radio-ready polish.

After a year of steady releases, Aziz proves why fans always come back for more.

Reuben Aziz Always Come Back Lyrics

Chorus
Dreams I could never afford
I told you I’d be right back
I pray you don’t let me go, I’m coming home, yeah
I’ll always come back for you, always come back
Watching my back for you, who’s got mine?

Verse
Yeah, I woke up and I did it again, I don’t bake, but I’m needing bread
No police, I gotta get fed, each day of the week, one percent
They talk on a bench like pep, I need paper so I pick up my pen
I’m on their radar like Gabe
I was busking with my guitar like Kurt for cash, I’m Cobain
Free smoke, I don’t vape, but they wanna hang man like Dave
I got P from my B-A-E so I put that girl in babe
I blow past them, gotta make mark like I play for the New York Mets
Flashing lights, I ain’t gotta rest, thank Christ, I’m blessed
With my dargs, I ain’t no vet, I got bros, I don’t need friends
I just pray that the game don’t change me, they wanna cost me Gs and save me
My girl flyer than me like Jay-Z, girl, I’ll be back, just wait for me
How could I be calm? I still ain’t made a M
Nowadays, the girl that hit my DMs for the same girl telling me that we just friends
I air it, I can’t respect that, nah, my girl lowkey a different class
I’m in a Merc’, in a different class, them man only ’round ’cause they got no bars
I ain’t a plug, but I swear I’m in charge
I ain’t never lying, that’s why they say, “Rah”
I don’t wanna say too much, my dog, but take off the autotune, it gets dark
It gets peak, money don’t grow on trees and you’re wondering why she leaves
Course they ain’t heard of me, them man cheap
Chip off my shoulder, that’s why I don’t run out of bars
Saw your face, bro, keep that mask
No Facebook, come and make my mark
Them man rapping, it makes me laugh, they ain’t got no Kevin Hart
They ain’t go no S-W-A-G, it’s A to the Z-I-Z
No artillery, but I keep my piece, I need me a milli’ like Meek, look
They got they eyes on me like Pac, but I wanna stack B-I-G
Left ’em on read like Levi Jeans, the music’s always been in my genes
They say they know me, but they never met me
Feel like the one, no Jet Li
I bumped TFL too many times for the underground to accept me, yeah

Chorus
Dreams I could never afford
I told you I’d be right back
I pray you don’t let me go, I’m coming home, yeah
I’ll always come back for you, always come back
Watching my back for you, who’s got mine?
