Samm Henshaw Lays Bare Fear’s Grip In Troubled Ones

Samm Henshaw Lays Bare Fear's Grip In Troubled Ones

Multi-instrumentalist Samm Henshaw’s latest single, Troubled Ones, stands out as a raw, soulful exploration of fear’s insidious hold. This introspective track invites you to confront your own vulnerabilities and doubts.

Henshaw’s unfiltered lyrics paint vivid scenes of love’s aspirations clashing with the stark realities of self-doubt and ego. His emotive vocals soar over the rich interplay of bass guitar and piano, guiding us through the labyrinth of self-reflection.

As Henshaw explains, “It’s a song about fear, all these different behaviours you might display based on fear, the way you might prevent yourself from doing certain things, and just the hold it has over you.“

In the verses, Henshaw confronts sleepless nights, the bitter taste of reality, and the fear of the unknown. The haunting chorus echoes the universal struggle of clinging to life’s highs, only to tumble down when reality strikes.

The bridge becomes a mantra, acknowledging the futility of chasing troubled tears or controlling fate’s whims. Instead, Henshaw invites us to embrace our mistakes and persist, finding solace in trying.

Sam Henshaw’s Troubled Ones is a soulful song offering a cathartic experience that holds a mirror to our collective psyche, reflecting the fears that bind us and the courage required to break free.
