For some upbeat music with a nostalgic groove then look no further than PREP who have released the first single and music video ‘Don’t Bring Me Down’ from their forthcoming April EP ‘Cold Fire’. This London-based group consists of artists with a huge amount of credits on their resumes. Co-writer and keyboard player Llywelyn Ap Myrddin (a classical & opera composer who loves electronica), drummer and house DJ Guillaume Jambel (touring with George Fitzgerald), Grammy nominee hip-hop producer Dan Radclyffe, (has worked on recordings by Drake and AlunaGeorge) and singer-songwriter/co-writer, Tom Havelock (co-writing for the likes of Riton, Sinead Hartnett and Ray BLK).

PREP released their debut EP ‘Futures’ in 2016 to Radio 1/1Xtra/Beats1 airplay, over 7 million streams online, 4 Hype Machine hits & a remix from AlunaGeorge. This release also lead to PREP remixing the Snakehips, Chance The Rapper & Tinashe smash hit ‘All My Friends’.

PREP’s forthcoming EP ‘Cold Fire’ will feature guest spots from Anderson .Paak producer Pomo and new Kitsuné signing Reva DeVito, alongside Korean RnB wunderkid DEAN. In the meantime, this feel-good song and vibrant music video which also reflects the retro tone (with a dancer seen dancing bird-like around different areas of sunny Los Angeles) will you get you excited for what’s coming next from this talented group.

‘Cold Fire’ will be released in April 2018.
