Platinum-selling artist Jocelyn Brown will be launching Q Decades, a journey through the best-loved eras of music at the legendary Quaglino’s this summer. From the 4th July until the 30th August guests will be able to appreciate a different decade each week going all the way back to 1929 and honouring some of the best music artists from each era.
Of course, it’s not just about the music at Quaglino’s as there will be prohibition-style cocktails from the 20s and 30s, a disco ball serve for the 70s and a cocktail inspired by the popular 90s sitcom Absolutely Fabulous. Expect themed brunches and a Swinging Sunday Lunch. Feeling groovy? Then book the Disco Brunch to celebrate the 70s, as well as a fabulous Ab Fab Bottomless Brunch, featuring 90s music from renowned guest DJ, where you can dine just like Patsy & Eddie with an Ab Fab cocktail. Quaglino’s will also be jazzing up their usual Sunday lunch with swing bands for guests to enjoy alongside their meal.
The iconic Jocelyn Brown will kick off the series on 4th July and no doubt her set will include her famous song ‘Somebody Else’s Guy’. Throughout the summer expect tributes to other icons such as Buddy Holly, The Rat Pack, Aretha Franklin and Lionel Richie.
Leslie Kwarteng, Senior General Manager at Quaglino’s, says “We are really looking forward to bringing Q Decades to Quaglino’s this summer. From Jocelyn Brown’s powerhouse vocals and nostalgic repertoire through to nights dedicated to The Rat Pack and Lionel Richie as well as our variety of themed brunches it will certainly be a summer to remember at Quaglino’s!”
